How We'll Learn 

 

This course is based on the facilitators understanding of the work of Marshall Rosenberg (Nonviolent Communication) and is taught by Esty Adler, who has trained for years under Yoram Mozenson, a master teacher in this field.

This course is workshop-style and very experiential.

 

 

There will be:

  • real-time demonstrations

  • guided practices

  • examples drawn from participants’ current lives

  • opportunities to be seen and supported (only if you want that)

  • a structure that allows you to continue practicing between sessions

 

You will not be memorizing scripts and ideas.
You will be experiencing empathy, honesty, and connection in real time.

This course will be led by Esty Adler.

About the facilitator:

I have always been searching for the balance between authenticity and connection. How do I be honestly myself, in moments where that might risk our connection? 
The desire to understand how to negotiate this led me to move to Amsterdam, in order to live and learn Nonviolent Communication from my teacher, Yoram Mozenson, and his Connecting 2 Life community, for the past 5 years. Through this adventure, I’ve been gifted essential tools to meet the delicateness of life in every moment.
 
My favourite part of this work is meeting myself and others in our uncomfortable feelings, especially anger and conflict. The precious feelings of love, joy, awe and connection hidden in precisely those places we reflexively avoid, is what I want to spend the rest of my life uncovering, and helping people to discover.
 
In the past few years, my NVC learning has led me to assist my teacher's courses, teach my own courses, as well as offer conflict and dialogue facilitations for couples and one on one empathy sessions for individuals. I am also in school to become a CORE Energetics therapist, a body based psychotherapy.
